"Columbiana" is a pretty decent entry in the "Female rogue assassin" micro-genre. Zoe Saldana continues to be one of the sexiest people on the planet.
"Our Idiot Brother" is a pretty good relationship comedy. It is clever and thoughtful, and we enjoyed it a great deal.
"The Smurfs" is, well, a movie about the smurfs. I have never seen an episode of the animation, but I like Neil Patrick Harris and Jayma Mays, and I was curious. It isn't awful. It's actually pretty good, for what it is.
In other news... I decided that I was going to get five Cooper Aerobic points every day, which mostly means doing two laps of the mall at Gurnee Mills in under an hour. I got an early start on it, Monday, and have now got seven days under my belt. Exercising for an hour on work days means losing sleep, but its only a month. If I can get into better shape, I can start doing exercises that have the same effect in less time, which will help.
And then there is a new poem, the first in over a year. It's only two couplets, but I like it a great deal. It turns out there is a LOT of regional variation in the pronunciation of "quay", but I grew up with the one that fits in the poem...
