It was COLD. The ramp is at the north end of the lake, and the wind was strong (15 mph and out of the south. It took half an hour of wading in COLD thigh deep water, and a broken oar, to finally get into deep enough water to actually sail. I did my lap of the lake carefully (because I REALLY did not want to risk going for a swim), and then had a major puzzle getting the boat back onto the trailer. I had to go in almost to my waist to get the boat lined up properly. Did I mention that the water was COLD?
"Clash of the Titans" is fun. It is about 50% Greek myth, 30% random other mythology, and about 20% whole cloth. I am personally fascinated that the title, "Clash of the Titans" has become inextricably linked with the story of Perseus, because there really is no necessary connection.
"Hot Tub Time Machine" is slightly less vulgar, and has significantly more heart, than the trailers would lead you to believe. It is definitely silly and vulgar, but surprisingly watchable anyway.
"The Last Song" is a Nicholas Sparks movie. Nicholas Sparks has made a career out of juxtaposing love and death, and this story does that. Given that, though, this movie is surprising upbeat, and very watchable.
