"Grudge Match" is yet another geriatric action star movie, this on bringing together the actors behind two of the most famous movie boxers of all time. It's fun, and silly, and surprisingly well made for all of that. We enjoyed it a great deal.
"Paranormal Activity: The Marked Ones" is just awful. While the earlier entries in this franchise were clever, simple, and (mostly) obeyed their own rules, this one has inherited only the family name, and the use of "found" footage. The stars of the original movie do a short cameo which makes even less sense than the rest of this boring mess. I've seen worse movies, but not many.
I am currently in the fourth day of the annual seven consecutive twelve hour day siege. It is going pretty smoothly, and considering I did 13 days at one point last year, it isn't bothering me much. Of course, the annual implementation freeze ends at midnight, so the squirrels will be on the loose with a vengeance for the next few days. We shall see.
