Of course, "Secondhand Lions" was also the delivery vehicle for the latest Lord of the Rings trailer, which is pretty much worth the cost of admission itself.
Finally got to see the new "Angel" over lunch. It should be a VERY interesting season, though the best line was the last: Someone shrieked, "Blondie Bear!" And the most bizarre way you could possibly explain that line is probably correct. And the scenes from next week looked great.
And THEN, this afternoon Dementia subjected me to "The Englishman Who Went Up a Hill and Came Down a Mountain." I had forgotten just how magical this movie is. It is incredibly romantic, in the best and most Quixotic sense. A small town in Wales takes on the English government and reality in general, and reality doesn't have a chance. This movie makes ME feel positive about the human race, at least for a while.
